Trina Fleming, WBI President

Trina Fleming – Board President WHW Chief Operating Officer www.whw.org

Trina is the Chief Operating Officer at WHW, a nonprofit that provides the unemployed and underemployed the skills and resources they need to get and keep a good job.  She oversees all back office operations of WHW including Human Resources, the shaping of WHW’s brand message, development and implementation of WHW’s strategic marketing  and communication activities, purchasing, organizational policies and management of WHW’s technology infrastructure and facilities, managment of WHW’s Retail Store, Deja New, as well as special projects designed to increase the organization’s capacity, efficiency and awareness in the community.  Trina has been a member of NAWBO-OC since 2007, has served on the Board of Directors since 2010 and was voted NAWBO-OC Member of the Year in 2009. Trina is the Communications Chair of Marketplace Women of Orange County, an organization that inspires women to integrate their professional, personal and spiritual lives and is on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Business Institute, a non-profit organization that supports the education of women entrepreneurs. Trina is also on the Advisory Council of Leadership In Heels, a women’s speaker series designed to motivate, inspire, educate and equip women to see themselves as leaders and pivot  their lives forward personally, professionally and in the community.

Rachel Owens

As a founding member and past President of NAWBO-OC, Rachel has devoted herself to assisting women-owned and family owned businesses grow and pass-on their companies.  Rachel also helped found the Family Business Council at Cal Sate Fullerton as well as Succession Strategies, Inc.  She has demonstrated her commitment to family-owned businesses by completing the Certified Family Business Advisor designation.  With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Rachel has a wealth of knowledge that gives her a unique perspective when working with her clients.  She possesses additional expertise in real estate that she incorporates into her financial planning advice.  Her financial planning practice focuses on helping family owned business owners develop the financial independence and estate plans necessary to create a smooth business succession.

Lucinda Salinas

Lucinda entered the financial services industry in 1986 working for CIGNA Insurance in Florida. In 2001 she opened her own brokerage life insurance agency, and in 2011 joined Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor. Lucinda has been an active member of NAWBO-OC for over 12 years. Today, she helps clients implement seamless wealth management strategies designed to help them build, preserve and transfer their assets.  As a former business owner, Lucinda knows firsthand the challenges of running a small business and balancing that responsibility with personal ones. Her passion is to help simplify the lives of busy entrepreneurs and provide services tailored to their organizations, including business insurance, succession planning, exit strategies, and cash and liability management strategies.
