The Women’s Business Institute (WBI) is an invaluable resource for women-owned businesses of all sizes. Today, more and more women are starting their own businesses. As they do, skills such as finding investors, hiring and managing employees, marketing, and knowing the legal and financial issues that must be addressed are not likely to be part of their repertoire.

While some women don’t have the time, interest or resources to go back to school, they do need access to quality educational programs that will give them the tools they need to help them build a successful business.

A partnership between the Women’s Business Institute and NAWBO-OC make these opportunities available to women throughout Orange County. WBI funds and promotes the numerous programs offered through NAWBO-OC’s Education Center, as well as NAWBO-OC’s Success Teams. This enables members and others in the community to access the information and tools they need to succeed.

For more information on the Women’s Business Institute giving and sponsoring opportunities, please Lucinda Salinas, WBI Board President at Lucinda.Salinas@ml.com. Lucinda welcomes the opportunity to discuss ways to help women grow through education and help make our communities employed and vital.
