Elisabeth Camaur, President
Elisabeth Camaur (“Liz”) founded Camaur Crampton Family Law, PC as a resource to help clients through divorce and child custody turmoil with a focus on the future. “Instead of regretfully looking back and affixing blame, I like to look forward. I like to turn divorce into an opportunity to change people’s lives for the better.” Liz is a certified family law specialist by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. That means she has the training and experience to understand all aspects divorce – both financial and emotional. “People come to me in extreme pain, and I take that responsibility very seriously,” she says. “My job is to help them through the transition. I want to help them plan their future.” Liz started practicing law in 1993 and soon after began focusing on family law. “In the middle of the chaos and pain, there is an opportunity for a better life.” “I’m looking for solutions.” Liz is a top notch litigator well known for her courtroom presence. She offers tenacious, aggressive and strong representation. Outside of court, clients enjoy Camaur’s creative solutions and bedside manner, complete with an ever-present box of tissues and candy treats on her desk. “Once the tears dry at the initial consultation, we focus on the client’s future,” she notes. After that, the conversation centers on how clients can use divorce to plan the rest of their life.”
“I help people find a strategy for their future and dreams through the chaos and pain of their divorce.” Liz is originally from Virginia (just outside of Washington, DC). She has lived in Southern California since 1990. She currently resides in Irvine with her two children, David and Aleks. Liz has completed the Los Angeles Marathon 5 times, numerous 5k races and a handful of half marathons.
Theresa Ashby, President-Elect & Strategic Development
Theresa Ashby, Ph.D., MBA is the CEO of Dynam Consulting. She is by nature a strategist, advisor, and thought partner who motivates professionalism and helps clients create a culture of empowerment by delivering groundbreaking strategic plans and processes. Theresa’s success lies in her talent for assisting individuals in developing their potential and uniting coworkers around a common vision. Drawing on her experience of 30 years in a variety of leadership roles, including serving as vice president of one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations, Theresa is known for her strong track record of building and directing successful teams, thus enabling companies to gain prominence in their industries. She is living her passion by inspiring the cultivation, enrichment, and acceleration of greatness.
Penny M. Fox, CPA Past President
Penny specializes in strategic tax planning and compliance for small businesses and high net worth individuals as well as business consulting, estate planning, trust consulting, divorce planning and bankruptcy planning. Penny prides herself in proactive attention to her myriad of clients’ needs and takes a special interest in patiently and thoroughly assisting her many women clients. An expert in her field, she has been serving Orange County for more than 30 years.
Penny is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Accounting. She earned her CPA license at a very young age, having passed all parts of the CPA Exam on her first try. Penny has been a member of the California Society of Certified Public since 1980.
Penny comes from a long line of entrepreneurs, both male and female, going back several generations and so never considered being anything but an entrepreneur herself.
Penny is a past president of The Sophisticates having previously served on the board for fifteen years as Treasurer. During her tenure, they were the largest fundraising guild benefiting the Assessment and Treatment Services Center. She also served on the Board, as CFO, for the Assessment and Treatment Services Center, eventually becoming Chairman of the Board. After the organization merged with Community Service Programs, a $15 million non-profit, she served eight years on that Board.
Penny has two grown children and lives in Costa Mesa with her fiance, Jeff Jackson.

Carey Shyres, Treasurer
Carey is native to southern California. She has expertise as a finance specialist and a QuickBooks Pro Advisor with over 23 years of experience in Orange County. She has also implemented and managed several databases for non-profits. Her experience is across multiple industries: Law firms, Architecture, Psychotherapist, Consultants, Financial Services, Software Development, Interior Design, Advertising as well as Personal Finance. She enjoys many outdoor activities and being a Mom.
JJ San Jose, Secretary
JJ San Jose is a native Californian who enjoys various aspects in real estate. This entrepreneur takes pride in helping people build their nest egg: IRA, 401k or increase their passive income by investing in real estate. She also enjoys working with sellers, Realtors and other real estate professionals looking to off load their properties quickly and seamlessly. As President of Appreciating RE, JJ’s comprehension of business structure at a departmental and corporate level has helped her build a successful system that manages a growing business with local and “virtual” team members. She currently presents at several organizations on how systems can benefit in their businesses usually in the real estate field and shares her experience as a real estate investor. She also co-founded Women’s Investment Network (WIN), an educational forum specializing in giving a hand-UP to ladies seeking financial freedom through real estate investing.
Christina Henderson, Strategic Development
Christina Henderson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She has been in the financial services industry since 2003 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2010. Her focus is on helping affluent women, families and closely held business owners gain a greater sense of financial freedom and independence in their lives. Christina listens to you as you review your individual financial situations, goals and values. She takes the time to understand who you are as an investor and what you want to accomplish with your wealth and life. She helps you determine your short and long-term financial goals and provides customized wealth management. She helps you simplify your financial affairs and gain clarity in your financial future. Christina is a Southern California native. She earned her Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University in 2002. She is an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and Women Looking Forward for United Way. She enjoys spending time with her husband Rob, son Graeme and their two dogs Monster and Miley. Trina Fleming, Strategic Development, Women Business Institute Board Member
Trina is the Chief Operating Officer for the nonprofit organization, WHW, its mission to provide the unemployed and underemployed the skills and resources they need to get and keep a good job. Since 1993, WHW has served over 70,000 job seekers at no charge.
Trina oversees all back office operations of WHW, helping the organization to deliver measurable and cost-effective results that make vision a reality. Her wide range of responsibilities include Human Resources, the shaping of WHW’s brand message, development and implementation of WHW’s strategic marketing and communication activities, purchasing, organizational policies and management of WHW’s technology infrastructure and facilities, management of WHW’s Retail Store, Deja New, as well as special projects designed to increase the organization’s capacity, efficiency and awareness in the community.
Trina brings her wisdom as Strategic Board Development to the National Association of Women Business Owners Orange County chapter, and serves on the board of the Women’s Business Institute. She was voted member of the year in 2009. Trina is the Communications Chair of Marketplace Women of Orange County, an organization that inspires women to integrate their professional, personal and spiritual lives and is on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Business Institute, a non-profit organization that supports the education of women entrepreneurs. Trina is also on the Advisory Council of Leadership In Heels,a women’s speaker series designed to motivate, inspire, educate and equip women to see themselves as leaders and pivot their lives forward personally,professionally and in the community.
In 2011,Trina was selected by Farmers and Merchants Bank as one of their Women of Courage. And in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Trina was nominated for the prestigious Orange County Business Journal’s Women in Business Award. Also in 2015,Trina was invited to be the keynote speaker at the Regional Conference of Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO) where she presented on “The Business of Nonprofits.”
Michelle Beauchamp, Programs
Michelle’s breadth of experience includes sales, management, leadership and training. She understands the real world challenges of prospecting, asking the right questions to get results, creating and delivering presentations, closing the deal and everything in between. She has 20+ years in the cable television industry, 13 of those years with Time Warner Cable (not consecutive). Michelle brings an entrepreneurial perspective to her current position, having owned a sales training company, a direct mail franchise, been a Sr. Sales Director with a major cosmetic firm, and worked in the franchise development business. Of utmost importance on a daily basis are: understanding the challenges and celebrating triumphs of her sales team; addressing the concerns and hopes of the businesses called on and existing clients; and keeping the corporate objectives top of mind.
Community involvement is a hobby for Michelle. She serves on two ministries at her church, current NAWBO VP Business Development; formerly served as a Mentor program of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and a former chair of their largest Remarkable Women fundraiser. She is passionate about her involvement to conquer breast cancer, and is training for her second consecutive 39.3 mile Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
Liz Papagni, Marketing

With her strategy first philosophy, Liz collaborates with her clients to help them develop their distinct market position, brand value and a marketing road map to take their businesses to the next level. Her specialties include branding, marketing and digital strategies, corporate positioning, social media, product/service launches and content creation. Donna Watson, Graphic Art
Donna Watson is “the mouse” of Designer Mouse Graphic Design, a creative services firm. Established in 1994, Designer Mouse is celebrating its 22 nd anniversary. Providing creative concept development, Donna assists her clients in promoting their products and services online and in print. Specialties include website design/development, brand development, marketing collateral, event and business promotion, photo editing and photo restoration.
Donna has been a proud member of NAWBO-OC since August, 2012. She has recently completed two terms as Board Secretary and has served on the Marketing and Business Development teams.

Katy Triefenbach, Corporate Partners
Katy Triefenbach, along with her husband Jeremy is the founder of Stage 1 Financial, providing young and emerging brands the people, processes and systems to quickly and sustainably grow their business, all within their specific business requirements.
Katy, CEO, manages Business and Marketing Strategy, Strategic Partnerships, Operations, and Human Resources. Katy has spent more than 30 years in a variety of roles in and outside of the United States. Katy began her career as a nurse in Intensive Care Units. Nursing allowed Katy to transition into a new career in Medical Sales and Marketing for companies such as GE Healthcare and CareFusion, in which she continued to work for over 10 years before transitioning into Stage 1 Financial. Katy partnered with Jeremy to help develop and brand a new concept to bring a local, fully outsourced Accounting and Finance solution to young, fast-growing organizations that affordably enables clients to have access to the best talent.
The goal for Stage 1 Financial is to provide a dynamic fast-paced “family-friendly” environment for their team that allows flexibility, while providing outstanding service for their clients.
Rocio Watts Members, Business Development
Rocio Watts is the Founder and President at Find Cleaning, an online marketing platform designed for the Cleaning Industry with members nationwide. She was born in Peru. She studied Law in Arequipa- Peru, receiving degrees in Law and Economics. Rocio immigrated to The United States 12 years ago. Her responsibilities include business planning, enterprise accountability, research and development, marketing, national sales and services. Julie Lopiccolo, Community Involvement
Julie Lopiccolo is a Partner at Cottle Keen Lopiccolo & Heyde, a boutique law firm in Orange, California. Julie Lopiccolo is passionate about advising and advocating on behalf of families and their businesses in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning and Probate. Julie Lopiccolo also routinely assists small business owners in resolving disputes through negotiation and where necessary, litigation. She believes trust and communication with clients is essential to obtain optimal results and will aggressively pursue the best interests of her clients at every turn. Julie Lopiccolo is dedicated to the safety of children and is the Co-Founder and President of the Jasper Ray Foundation for Drowning Prevention and Child Safety. She is also Vice Chair of the Orange County Task Force on Drowning Prevention. Aneeta Kumar is an attorney and partner at Kumar & Gerchick, where she represents policyholders in a wide range of insurance coverage disputes and insurance recovery matters. Kumar & Gerchick has helped clients recover hundreds of millions of dollars from insurance companies to pay for litigation expenses and settlements, environmental and pollution losses, general liability claims, natural disaster losses, products liability claims, advertising liabilities, business interruption and extra expense claims, employment, discrimination and harassment claims, directors’ and officers’ liabilities, errors and omissions claims, and crime losses. Kumar & Gerchick also advises clients regarding general risk management concerns, insurance program audits, insurance policy reviews, and policy placement/renewal negotiations.
Prior to forming Kumar & Gerchick in 2005, Aneeta was part of the Insurance Recovery Department at Howrey Simon Arnold & White, LLP and the Insurance Coverage Group at Troop Steuber Pasich Reddick & Tobey LLP. Aneeta received her Juris Doctor from UC Davis School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College, where she received the Benjamin H. Culley Phi Beta Kappa Prize.
Aneeta joined the Orange County chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners in 2013 and served on its Board as VP of Community Relations from July 2014 to June 2016. Currently, she sits on NAWBO-OC’s Board as Vice President of Public Policy.
Cynthia Hackler, Mentoring/Peer Advisory
Cynthia Hackler Flynn, Esq. is the owner and managing partner of Hackler Flynn & Associates. After working many years for several law firms in Los Angeles and Orange County, she decided to start her own practice to give more personal attention to her clients and their cases. Ms. Flynn believes her attorneys and staff should come from a wide range of legal backgrounds and experience. She provides a workplace that is team-oriented and works together to bring the best results to her clients. At Hackler Flynn & Associates, Cynthia Flynn examines each of her client’s objectives and determines how best to reach their goal. Ms. Flynn is dedicated to her clients and believes in being available and supporting them to meet their needs and build strong long term client relationships.
Cynthia Flynn has also recently taken the reins of the mentor/mentee program with the Orange County chapter of the Nation Association of Business Women (NAWBO-OC). She believes the program provides aspiring businesswomen with extensive and essential knowledge from their mentors, not just in business but in their personal lives as well. For some businesswomen, the NAWBO-OC mentor/mentee program is an invaluable tool for challenges faced by female business owners in male dominated industries.

In 2008 Rosa was inspired to take the leap from a sedentary desk job to personal training. Her passion is guiding and empowering others to find and pursue their own fitness journey and improve their quality of life. Creating a challenging, yet fun workout that keeps you motivated and provides the support you need to make health and fitness a lifelong priority is key and that is the goal at Full Circle Fitness. She firmly believe you’re never too old or young to make fitness a part of your life and everyone must start somewhere. Full Circle Fitness was opened in December of 2014, so that she could provide clients with a clean, positive, and motivating workout environment. The studio offers Personal Training, Pilates, and Small Group Training in a more intimate setting. She specializes in functional fitness with the goal of helping you feel better, move better, and age well!
DeDe Soto, Membership
DeDe established Soto Law Group so she could dedicate herself to the needs of growing families and business owners in the area of Trusts, Wills and Estate Planning. DeDe has a broad background of legal experience. From early on where she started practicing in family law and business litigation, and later when she developed an extensive real estate expertise. This expertise includes community planning/land-use entitlement, extensive negotiations with municipalities, local government and business owners on behalf of large real estate developers.
DeDe launched the Soto Law Group in 2009. Incorporating her business knowledge and real estate expertise with her passion for coaching and teaching she brings an invaluable combination to her Estate Planning and Probate clients.
She had always believed that traditional estate planning, which implies, and often focuses only on, financial wealth and taxation was too limited and short-sighted. DeDe believes it’s not only about passing on financial wealth, but also intellectual, spiritual and human wealth. With the establishment of her own firms, she can provide a framework for a more holistic approach to family wealth planning. “We can actually pass on the clients’ stories, insights and wisdom to their children, grandchildren and other loved ones so that they don’t get lost when the clients pass away,” she explains. Mahyar Ghassemian, Legal Counsel
Mahyar Ghassemian is the founder and principal attorney of Ghassemian Law Group, APC, a boutique law firm that focuses on Construction, Business and Personal Injury Law. She has a Masters’ Degree in Physics and spent a year as a faculty member at California State University, Long Beach where she taught Physics and Electronics laboratory courses. Afterwards, she became involved in the corporate world prior to deciding to pursue a legal education.
Ms. Ghassemian has been an associate and then a partner in various size firms with the largest being Ford Walker, Haggerty and Behar with 55 attorneys in Long Beach, California. Since 1999, she has litigated numerous cases involving large companies. Some of her clients include national construction companies and builders such as Turner Construction, Whiting Turner Contracting Company, and ACCO Engineering, as well as local companies such as A.J. Kirkwood, the Patterson Company, and Charge Bliss California Construction Company.
Her Physics background uniquely qualifies her to deal with complex scientific issues of large size construction matters which are heavily dependent upon expert analysis and testimony; while her business experience gives her insight for proper analysis of business issues. Out of the combination of both, her niche was born where she advises construction companies on their unique business issues. Her mission is to prevent litigation through proper planning and early resolution of disputes for small to medium size businesses. The Firm’s clients include construction companies and other businesses with contractual and structural needs, as well as those who are involved in a construction project and need advice navigating the process.
