Marketing Committee

The Marketing/Public Relations Committee oversees chapter marketing, branding and communications, attends and hosts display tables at conferences, expos and trade shows and is responsible for generating positive media attention for the chapter, highlighting members whenever possible.  The committee also works with NAWBO-OC leadership on a local and national level to improve the chapter’s technology infrastructure and support organizational and marketing initiatives via website, e-campaigns, social media and online asset archiving.   Committee members love to generate exposure through marketing and branding initiatives, enjoy working in a creative environment, have a passion for marketing, are creative thinkers and are very comfortable with being a team player.

Trina is the VP of Marketing and Communications at the NAWBO-OC affiliate, WHW (Women Helping Women/Men2Work).  She directs the development and implementation of WHW’s strategic marketing and public relations activities.  Trina is also responsible for facilities management, the implementation and maintenance of the organization’s technology infrastructure, as well as the management of WHW’s Retail Store, Déjà New.  Trina has been a member of NAWBO-OC since 2007, has served on the Board of Directors since 2010 and was voted NAWBO-OC Member of the Year in 2009.  Trina is also on the Leadership Team of Marketplace Women of Orange County and the Co-Chair of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.

Judy Rose writes original copy for marketing and promotional materials, BLOGS, newsletters, professional bios, press releases, and more. She also offers a unique strategic editing service called Writing Repair which involves analyzing, polishing, and adding vitality to her clients’ text and drafts.  A NAWBO-OC member since 2008, Judy serves on the Marketing Committee where she is the Associate Director of Content Management. As Editor of the NAWBO Blog, Judy writes posts and manages a rotating team of nine other contributors. She also writes the Spotlight articles for our corporate partners.  Since 2009, Judy has written the bio/tributes for our annual Remarkable Women Awards honorees and in 2012 became organizer/editor of content of the 50+ page event program.
