Cathy Daugherty, a partner at Trademark Insurance in Anaheim, CA, has been named Region IX Women in Business Champion of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Santa Ana District Office. Her selection was announced by J. Adalberto Quijada, District Director, who commended Daugherty for her valuable contributions to women's programs. Click here to read the press release.

Stephanie Hager was accepted into the Eastern Sierra Land Trust art show in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This show features the work of a handful of artists and the subject is the beautiful Eastern Sierra. Stephanie will have some of her fine art work shown here July 18 & 19.

Susan Johnson, founder and CEO of Susan's Healthy Gourmet and Xan Confections, has been named a Finalist in the prestigious 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, presented to entrepreneurs who have created and sustained highly successful business ventures. Winners will be announced at the June 11 awards banquet. 

Attorney Darlynn Morgan authored a chapter in the new book, Estate Planning Strategies: Collective Wisdom, Proven Techniques. In easy-to-understand language, Estate Planning Strategies helps people comprehend the entire estate planning process. The book not only provides insights and advice to those with large estates, but also offers help to those with very basic estate planning needs.

Stephanie Hager, Stephanie Hager Photography, has just finished photographing an advertising campaign for one of Krush Creative's clients. The images included all of the top executives of Marwit Capital.

Benchmark Information Technology, an IT consulting company based in Long Beach and owned by NAWBO-OC member Aly McFarlane, realized more than 115% revenue growth in 2008. Benchmark Information Technology specializes in helping small and medium-sized businesses in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Stacy McCullough achieved her EcoBroker designation in December 2008 allowing her to promote affordable home comfort, and to help her clients save money through energy-efficient and environmentally-sensitive choices.
