 Creating
a Dynamic Business Plan: Your Roadmap to Business Success (Feb
7 & 14) Instructor: Cassie Hoag,
Equity Architects. All business owners know they need
a business
plan, but how many take the time to actually
write one? In this two part, 6-hour workshop, you will
develop a powerful plan that will help you to take your
business
to the next level. You will learn about the elements
of the business plan and how to translate your vision
into actionable
goals and strategies, then actually produce a business
plan. In addition, you will get real time feedback on
your plan.
 The
Next Big Thing: Planning for Growth and Building Capacity (Feb
20 & 27) Instructor:
Susan Bock, Susan Bock Solutions. A business goes through
stages of development similar to the cycle of life. Strategies
that were useful when you launched your business may not
apply to your business today: the rules have changed. What
you focus on today will change and require different approaches
to be successful. Knowing where you want to go will help
you determine how to get there. This workshop will take you
from where your business is today to where you want your
business to be by applying the appropriate tools, strategies
and design. This interactive workshop will discuss ways for
small business owners to recharge after a plateau, identify
new market opportunities, and gauge internal and external
growth drivers. The two-part, 6-hour workshop is ideal for
small business owners who have achieved growth and are now
experiencing
a lull.
 Creating Your
Image: Overview of Public Relations Planning (Mar
20) Instructor: Cara
Good. Attendees will be introduced to the key components of
a public relations plan and discuss the plan's importance
in your company's communications mix. Important considerations
such as newsworthiness, timing, awareness creation, and
crisis planning, among other elements, will be discussed.
Upon completion of this 3-hour class, attendees will have
a fundamental understanding of public relations planning
elements.
