MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Nancy
LaTouche recently embarked on a new venture utilizing
the latest technology—infra-red light therapy—to
combat the signs of aging. In 2004, this therapy, similar to

IN THE NEWS
Rochelle
Schneider, president of NAWBO-OC
and owner of RJS Legal and Business Consulting, was featured
in the February 17 issue of OC Metro. The article
by Kim Porrazo, which featured a photo of Rochelle, focused
on Risk Management for Startups. As usual, Rochelle gave
some sound legal—and business—advice. On February
21, Rochelle was
also quoted in La
Opinión regarding possible implications
of cuts
in SBA
funding for loans and
other programs.
Helane
Cohen, a new NAWBO-OC member, announced that her
company, Le Petit Cookery, received national publicity
in the magazine Country Kitchens. The January
issue featured one of Helane's products—a Kid's Pack
10-piece bakeware set. The product is sold online (www.lepetitcookery.com).
Helane says her company offered the first online store
for kids-only cooking products. Her company also offers
hands-on kids' cooking parties, cooking classes and afterschool
programs.
