KUDOS!
Congratulations Barri!
NAWBO board member Barri Carian, Carian Consulting, has just been named the 2005
NAWBO-OC Member of the Year and will be recognized at the Remarkable Women's
Awards Luncheon on Oct. 14. Barri is an excellent business professional, as
well as a dedicated NAWBO member, and is profiled in this month's Board
Member
Spotlight (see below).
From Jerri Hemsworth to
Steve Churm:
"I'm sitting at my desk with the July 7 issue of OC
Metro and admiring how far you have taken the
magazine and all of Churm Publishing. CONGRATULATIONS!
It's been a long time since we
worked on the OC Metro media kit with Chris Morgan almost nine years
ago... I was at the NAWBO-OC event last month and picked up the issue.
Very
nice!
I'm the current NAWBO-CA President and have
been in OC many times. I get a very warm feeling every time they mention Churm
Publishing as a corporate sponsor, remembering how wonderful you were when I
was starting my business.
I just want to say 'Thank you' for helping
me in the early days of
NewmanGrace, and also 'Kudos' on
the growth of your company. Well done!"
Horst Voesling of Susan’s
Healthy Gourmet has been named California Restaurant
Association Employee of the Year for his talent in taking
restaurant quality and favorite household meals and transforming
them into delicious, good-for-you meals.

Aliza Sherman Rishdahl, writer, producer and president of Moonbow

owners may be tempted to "do it all," delegating
tasks can provide the time and energy to focus on taking
a company up to the next level. But, when to hire and how
to find the perfect candidates can be a full-time job.
