The Mission of the Education Committee is to ensure that the Education Center adds value to our members and the community by delivering high quality workshops that meet the business needs for women entering the entrepreneurial world that have prior corporate experience as well as women who have been in business for more than 2 years.
Workshops are open to the public; membership in NAWBO-OC is not required to participate. Workshop registration cost is a member benefit that is included in the NAWBO-OC membership fee. Registration for all non-members of NAWBO-OC is $75.00.
In addition to monthly workshops, the Education Center provides an outstanding opportunity for you to take your business to the next level by joining a Success Team. The Mission of the Success Teams is to provide the support needed to be more effective and successful in your business. Each group consists of 6-10 business owners who meet regularly to use their combined knowledge, experience and energy to support each other’s business success. Each team is facilitated by a trained and experienced business coach and will meet twice per month, once in person and once via conference call.
Finally, the Women’s Business Institute partners with our Education Committee to help fund our workshops and programs. We encourage you to learn more about the Women’s Business Institute and consider donating to this important cause.
