In the spotlight this month: Tustin Ranch Golf Club
A round of golf has long been known as an informal way for business people to connect. No longer just the province of men, enjoying the game of golf is an increasingly popular activity for women business owners who wish to enhance relationships with colleagues and clients.
NAWBO-OC Corporate Partner Tustin Ranch Golf Club, one of the county’s most beautiful public courses, is a meticulously maintained, championship 18-hole course offering exquisite scenery, private caddies, full service clubhouse, restaurant, wedding and banquet facilities, pro shop, driving range, and golf school.
Since the start of our partnership in late 2012, Tustin Ranch has hosted events like the NAWBO Board Retreat and appreciation parties to thank the Remarkable Women committee and our Corporate Partners. Monthly “Golf with the President” outings include 9 holes of play plus breakfast. Representatives of Tustin Ranch regularly attend NAWBO dinners. At our June meeting, they had a display table at which golf pro Karen Tucker promoted clinics that will be held from July to October.
General Manager Steve Plummer, CGCS, commented on our relationship, “When approached about becoming a Corporate Partner with NAWBO, we saw it as a great way not only for us to showcase our facility and services to women business owners, but also for our own staff members to network within the NAWBO-OC community. We put an emphasis on introducing golf to new women golfers and on providing clinics and social activities that are attractive to business women. Though still in the early stages, we can already see a strong relationship building for the future.”
NAWBO-OC is grateful to Tustin Ranch Golf Club for their generous participation and for offering inviting and very enjoyable opportunities to work together.
