In the spotlight this month: Time Warner
Time Warner is a company that touches our lives every day. For many of us here in Orange County, each time we access the Internet, pick up the phone, or turn on the television, Time Warner is there making the connections for us. In addition to providing services that make our business and personal lives more convenient and enjoyable, Time Warner is an active member of the community, offering education programs and contributing cash and volunteer time to non-profit organizations and charities.
Time Warner has long been a supporter of local businesses, so it was a natural progression and a great fit when the company became a Corporate Partner of NAWBO-OC. One of NAWBO’s most energetic members, Michelle Beauchamp, was instrumental in bringing the two together. Michelle is the Local Sales Manager for Time Warner Cable. She explains, “Since NAWBO is very near and dear to my heart, I was thrilled when my boss, Craig Ruble, asked me how we at TWC could help. I immediately thought of the Remarkable Women Awards dinner, because I believe it is such an amazing event and a good way to tie in with local businesses since that is our mission on a daily basis.” TWC helped to publicize RW and continues to assist NAWBO in gaining visibility on a variety of television networks and the Internet. As an individual member, Michelle participates in the Mentoring Program.
We are grateful to Time Warner Cable for joining NAWBO in our efforts to promote our members and our role in the business community. It is a partnership that inspires us both.
