My husband is a Honda man. I thought nothing in this world would convince him to buy anything other than a Honda. I was wrong, and let me tell you this story, as it is something that all of us can apply to our businesses. My husband went to the Honda dealership in Santa Ana to check out the cost of trading in my old Honda for a new one. He came home "steaming mad." The sales representatives had been extremely rude and unhelpful. I calmed him down and told him that we should visit Allen Oldsmobile Cadillac. I knew their representatives— Larry Bartz and Mary Smith (regular attendees at our NAWBO dinner meetings)—to be two of the loveliest people you could ever meet. I knew they would give us the attention and service we wanted. So the following afternoon we stopped by Allen Cadillac Oldsmobile. The staff was wonderfully polite and extremely helpful. We test drove several cars. The sales representative took the time to answer all our questions and explained the different payment options. There was no hard selling. We were really enjoying the experience. You know how it is when you get treated like a queen— the difference in atmosphere between a fast food restaurant and the Ritz Carlton! I love my new Alero! And yes, my husband loves it too! We are now Allen Oldsmobile Cadillac "Customers for Life." How many of us can say that about our own customers? Hats off to Allen Oldsmobile Cadillac. Thanks for making us feel special and for making our buying experience a pleasure. Allen Oldsmobile Cadillac has been a NAWBO Corporate Member for a number of years. They attend our monthly dinner meetings regularly. Stop by their showroom in Laguna Niguel and say hello to Larry Bartz and Mary Smith. Try out an Oldsmobile or Cadillac; you’ll love it!
