Nov 7, 2009 EWGA-OC Westridge Golf Club "Triplicate" Tournament - Sponsored by Roger Dunn Golf Shops: A fun and challenging course makes Westridge the perfect place for a "Triplicate" Tournament. Each player chooses her best 3 par 3's, best 3 par 4's and best 3 par 5's and subtracts half her handicap. Lowest total wins! Awards will be given for low "Triplicate" gross and net scores. There will also be prizes for closest to the flag on all the par 3's and longest drive on one hole. After golf, retire to the bar for scoring and distribution of prizes. This is a mentoring event that provides a playable experience for the beginning and improving golfer. Format will be either stroke play or best ball. Dec 2, 2009 EWGA-OC Annual Holiday Party at the Improv Comedy Club: New this year, the EWGA-OC will be hosting their annual holiday party at the Improv Comedy Club in the Irvine Spectrum. We will begin with a quick presentation, volunteer recognition and a message from our fantastic sponsors, followed by a three course holiday dinner. And then we will sit back and laugh as we watch headline comedian Alonzo Bodden. He is the winner of Season 3's Last Comic Standing, has had movie roles, and is currently a regular field correspondent for The Tonight Show. Need a good laugh? Bring a friend and head over to the Improv Comedy Club at the Irvine Spectrum for the EWGA-OC Holiday Party. Join your EWGA-OC and celebrate the holidays EWGA-OC style! Dec 5, 2009 EWGA-OC Aliso Creek Golf and Ornament Exchange Event: 9 hole golf event at beautiful Aliso Creek in Laguna Beach. Carved amongst the dramatic and lush walls of Aliso Canyon, Aliso Creek Golf Course is the most serene and natural setting for golf in Orange County. Join the players at the clubhouse for lunch and ornament exchange afterward. (Lunch and ornament exchange are optional.) Please bring a wrapped ornament. It should not exceed $10 in value.
