NAWBO-OC strives to provide our members, partners and the community at large with up-to-date information regarding every aspect of our organization. In order to meet this goal, we have launched our new website as of March, 2011. The new site brings NAWBO-OC current with standard best practices, reorganizes information into consumable sections and pages, makes available important event and contact information, and is both user and SEO friendly – making us easier to find by perspective members.
In addition to our new website, we have launched a newly designed weekly e-Alert which is distributed to our members each Wednesday, and our e-Newsletter, distributed monthly.
Early 2011 will see us take our file storage online, building a sustainable, historical archive of the documentation that defines our chapter and allows us to grow and prosper. We will be capturing and properly documenting vital information that is currently available only as legacy and memory. Thank goodness for our long-time members and past presidents and board members!
Finally, we have implemented, and will continue to implement, processes that will keep our chapter at the forefront of information exchange and technology for many years to come.
None of this would be possible without the support of our board and members, as well as the dedicated Technology Committee that is working day in and day out to turn our technology goals into our technical reality.
