Dear NAWBO-OC Member:
Serving in a leadership position in NAWBO-OC is a very rewarding experience. As business owners, it is important that we constantly sharpen our business and leadership skills, as well as broaden our business network. Contributing your time, energy and expertise as a NAWBO-OC leader can make a positive impact on the bottom line of your business and, at the same time, make a positive difference to the success of other women.
Please give this opportunity serious consideration. Your special skills, talent and vision can make a dynamic difference to so many other women business owners. I encourage you to take some time and thoroughly explore what this opportunity can mean to you personally and to your business. Finally, if you know another member who would be an excellent candidate, please submit her nomination. Links are provided to the Position Descriptions that may help clarify the requirements of each office and the nomination form.
The deadline to submit Nomination Forms is Friday March 15, 2013. Candidates will be interviewed on March 21st and the Nominating Committee will announce its candidates at the April 2nd dinner meeting.
A Petition Process will follow this and the final slate will be announced at the dinner meeting on May 7th. Ballots for the election will be emailed to NAWBO-OC voting members after the announcement.
