WHO WE ARE: Professional Communications Exchange is a network of consultants who specialize in marketing communications and public relations. PCE members have completed projects for high profile companies such as Allergan, Coca-Cola, Deloitte & Touche, Disneyland, Marriott International, Mattel, Mazda, Reebok, Taco Bell, Toshiba America Information Systems, United Airlines and Xerox; as well as hundreds of small and mid-sized local and regional firms in virtually every industry.
PCE has two basic missions: 1) to provide a forum for our members to stay up-to-date on the trends in communications and related fields; and 2) to help market our members' services through referrals within the group and through the directory posted on our website. Membership is open to full-time, self-employed communications professionals in Southern California with at least three years' experience. Members are typically PR professionals, marketing consultants, writers and graphic designers (>90% female!). Our online directory contains detailed bios of all members... MEETINGS are held bimonthlyusually the third Tuesday of "odd" monthsfrom 6 to 9 p.m. NAWBO members qualify for the member rate $25 (with a reservation). A 3-course dinner is included. Most meetings feature a speaker of interest to independent communications professionals, as well as a great opportunity to network with marketing pros.
